Testing, Testing...

I found a setting with the blogger with which I can post to the blog via email...I'm interested to see how this looks on the blog..

Oh my, that is amazing...it looks pretty good and was very easy. Would this be a way to allow students to post on a class blog without giving them access to change all the settings? The students would receive the mail-to address only....maybe I'll try this for my ED410 students and their practica this semester....

I did try to do a post with a photo attached to the email, and the photo didn't show. I think the advantage of a blog is the ability to add photos and pictures. I'll have to see if you can limit some of the users privileges if I created a class page.

Actually, only the blog author (or authors that the original author creates) can post material as a blog entry. Blogger blogs can have more than one author, but by default they have only one. Students can comment on a blog, but they can't create new posts of their own. Since the author can moderate posts, nothing objectionable can be posted without the author's consent.

Yes, I would add other contributors to include other folks on a class blog. I'm wondering if it's only the administrator who can change the settings? I'll look into that...
